Nation's Leading Inspection firm grows in the garden state

CHANTILLY, Va. September 2005- U.S. Inspect, the nation’s leading home inspection firm based in Chantilly, VA., announced today the addition of American Home Inspectors, of Brick, N.J., to the U.S. Inspect Team.

U.S. Inspect is a national inspection firm with offices in over 30 major metro areas from coast to coast. Expanding its base every year, this is their third acquisition in New Jersey. In December of 2003 U.S. Inspect acquired Ecological Residential and Commercial Inspections & Gotham Home and Building Service of Rockaway and Montclair, N.J. respectively.

U.S. Inspect’s coverage in New Jersey, which previously included northern New Jersey from Sussex to Somerset counties now stretches to include Monmouth and Ocean counties, southeast Middlesex and the western border of Burlington County.

“New Jersey is popping with real estate activity, but it can be challenging for inspectors living in Sussex, Bergen, and even Morris County to travel into central New Jersey as regularly as clients need,” said District Manager Mike Fitzpatrick. “This acquisition allows us to reach more clients and brings us one major step closer to full-coverage in the state of New Jersey.”

American Home Inspections was the leader in their market and was one of the largest inspection firms in New Jersey. Palomba and his team have been in business in central New Jersey since 1997 performing over 1500 inspections each year. They are active in the real estate community and are members of the south Monmouth County and Ocean County boards of realtors. They have been a full-service inspection company offering home inspections, wood destroying insect inspections, radon testing, septic, oil tanks, mold and more, Palomba said.

“Merging with a national company will only improve our ability to service our clients,” said Palomba. “This allows us to take our business to a higher standard of home inspections in New Jersey.”

Palomba and his team will continue to offer home inspections and related inspection services seven days a week to clients in central New Jersey.
