U.S. Inspect Raises Flag in Texas, Brings
Affordable Inspections Into Fold
FAIRFAX, VA - U.S. Inspect, Inc. today announced it has staked an employee-based presence in the Lone Star State with the merger of Dallas/Fort Worth-based Affordable Inspections, Inc.
The Affordable operation, 30 members strong, is the market share leader in the burgeoning Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Affordable will operate as the Dallas Region under the U.S. Inspect umbrella and will be known as U.S. Inspect/Affordable Inspections during a transition period. Affordable president Mike Crow, one of the most respected names in the home inspection services industry, will run the day-to-day operations of the Dallas Region and will evaluate future expansion opportunities for U.S. Inspect in Dallas and throughout the state of Texas.
“We now have an established operation to build from in Texas,” U.S. Inspect President & CEO Richard A. Thompson said. “This is another important step in the expansion of the U.S. Inspect employee
consultant footprint into the nation’s major markets. We are going to continue to focus on building this great company around people like Mike Crow who know what it takes to be successful in the home inspection services industry.”
Crow and Affordable Inspections are synonymous with quality inspections, unrivaled service and distinctive marketing campaigns in the Metroplex real estate market.
“We’ve been meeting the needs of our clients in the Metroplex market for the past 15 years, and we look forward to continuing that tradition under the U.S. Inspect banner,” Crow said. “The landscape is changing in both the real estate and home inspection industries. It was obvious that joining with U.S. Inspect would allow us to develop an even more formidable presence in our market and meet the demands of our customers and the real estate community.”
Brian P. Fimian, U.S. Inspect Vice President, Acquisitions, revealed that he has had Affordable in his sights for several years. He added that the acquisition bolsters the credibility of U.S. Inspect in Texas and provides a position from which the company can expand into middle and large markets throughout the Southwest.
“Our discussions with Mike date back a number of years, but it was never the right time to merge our business relationship into something permanent,” Fimian said. “This time around, we agreed that a marriage of Affordable into U.S. Inspect was a perfect fit.”
Fimian added: “Mike and his team bring U.S. Inspect a personal commitment to customer satisfaction that has earned Affordable the respect of the Texas real estate community. This is very exciting for us because Mike and his
consultants give U.S. Inspect a solid employee-based foothold in one of the most dynamic real estate markets in the country. We look at this move as the first step in broadening our reach not only in Texas, but throughout the Southwest.”
Under Crow’s leadership, the Dallas Area will serve the Texas counties of Tarrant, Dallas, Johnson, Ellis, Collin, Denton, and Parker. All
consultants in the area are equipped with a computer, digital camera and portable printer to produce on-site inspection reports for customers.
