What is a GFCI you say?  Well, let me explain. GFCI stands for Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt. You probably have some in your home. If not, you need some! GFCIs can be in the form of an electrical outlet or a circuit breaker. They both have test buttons on them. The outlets have a reset button too.

OK, I'm tired of winter and even though there is a foot of snow outside my house right now, I have decided it is over. Alright, so maybe I still have at least another 20 days, but I've already begun to mentally prepare for spring's arrival.

Did you know that according to a Realty Times article, many county building inspectors are seeing over 30 homes a day? That’s less than 15 minutes at each site. That's simply a lot to see in a very short amount of time. It's just one of the reasons why home inspections on new homes can be so beneficial.

Some days, being a home home inspector can be quite the adventure!
