How Would You Improve Your Home With an Unlimited Budget?
As an avid blog reader I recently found Scott Adams' blog, which I find quite interesting to follow. Adams is the creator of Dilbert (which I also enjoy) but his blog is not about that, but rather his thoughts on technology, government, the economy and other life topics I enjoy reading about.
He did a post recently on several design elements of what sounds like (my words) his recently completed dream house. Following his tremendous (well-deserved) success in the late nineties following the explosion of his comic strip, he certainly has the budget to work with. Readers of our blog tend to often think along the lines of home improvement, so I thought it was particularly cool to think about the things you could do to improve your home should you not be constrained by a budget. Solely an academic exercise for most of us, surely, but an enjoyably one nonetheless. Here's the post:

The first thing that grabbed me was the idea of sound baffles in the hall-way to the home office. As somebody who regularly works from a home office, and has had a growing family at various stages of development a few feet away, I thought that was particularly neat.
Anyhow, enjoy. I'm curious, what features would you add to your home if budget was not a constraint?
