Unique Properties - Historical Home in Dallas
Submitted by: Martin Cooley, U.S. Inspect, Dallas, TX
Here is a picture of an Historical home that I inspected in Dallas on Swiss Ave., the Dallas Historical District. The Spanish/Italian style residence was designed in the early 1920’s by Architect Clarence C. Bulger, and was originally constructed for Mr. & Mrs. Wesley Porter Mason. Mrs. Mason was a well known Dallas community music patron and after World War II she sponsored musicians such as Rachmaninov, Paderewski and Van Cliburn along with many others who actually performed in this home!
You can take a virtual tour of the home at: www.5007swissavenue.com.
This is probably one of the oldest and coolest homes I have been in touch with.
