U.S. Inspect Turns 25!

On Friday, U.S. Inspect celebrated its 25th anniversary. We had a nice party at our HQ office in Chantilly, Viriginia, attended by past and present employees. We also showed a video that captured the company's evolution from radon to home and commercial inspections.

In the video, CEO, Bill Bowman had this to say about the company and its people:  

"The people in this company are really special. There's a huge contrast between this company and the business I knew before, which was the software business. In technology and high-tech, people come and go so fast you barely get to know their names. When I was told that there were people in this company who came here right out of college and then stayed here for ten or 15 years, that was unheard of to me. It had never been part of my experience."

"And that kind of hiring continues today. We're looking for people who are smart, people of tremendous integrity, people who can balance a lot of different things, and boy if they have a sense of humor, that just adds an awful lot to the mix."

U.S. Inspect started out as a Radon Testing company in 1986, working for Relocation companies. We quickly grew nationally and began offering termite, then home inspections. In 1997 we expanded to Residential home inspections, and over the years expanded further into various commercial inspections and data collection surveys. As we celebrate 25 years in the business, we're proud to have performed well over 2 million inspections, and look forward to many more years to come.
