Watch your step! There are several things wrong in this picture… The spiral staircase to the attic does not have a hand rail, which is a major safety hazard. The top portion of the staircase is also missing a guard rail. Someone could easily fall down these stairs. But that’s not all! That square on the wall behind the staircase is the attic scuttle access. Good luck getting in there! The attic scuttle access should be re-located to a safer place for easier access.
