ANSWER: Main Electrical Panel Needs to be Secured

This is the main electric panel falling off the side of a house during an inspection by Raleigh, NC Inspector, Eric Goodsell. The house was occupied at the time and everything was still working--but yikes!!

The main electric panel and electric meter are not secure to their supports. To say the least, this can cause loose connections and hazards. It is recommend that a licensed electrician be contacted ASAP for further evaluation and repairs. Note: If you ever have a situation like this, under no circumstance should you try a DIY fix. This is a definite life-threatening situation, a fire hazard, and in this case, is even low enough for kids to get in there! You'll want to call a professional and address the issue immediately.
