U.S. Inspect Re-Launches its Web site
Chantilly VA.—U.S. Inspect, the nation’s largest employee based commercial and residential home inspection company, announced today that they have re-launched their Web site in order to better provide home- and inspection-related educational resources to their clients and to the real estate community.
U.S. Inspect’s Web site, www.usinspect.com, launched in 1999. It was well ahead of its time in terms of its sheer volume of educational home owner’s resources. It had an interactive home systems glossary, hundreds of pages of useful information in its House Facts section, educational videos, and the industry’s first “Ask the Inspector” forum.
During the last ten years the Web site received much recognition, has been linked as a resource to over 6000 other Web sites, and was the home maintenance resources engine behind several real estate sites in the dot-com era, such as iown.com and yahoo.com’s real estate section.
“Over the years, changes in Web technology have advanced rapidly, so it was definitely time to bring the site up to date,” said Phil Halpin, Director of Marketing for the company. “While retaining all the useful resources of the past, we are now introducing more interactive and social networking features, such as a library of blogs and syndicating much new content.”
The company is much more than just a Web site, however, with over 130 veteran employee- inspectors in most of the major cities across the country. Said Halpin, “Changes to the site will also make us much easier to be found at the local level, so more home buyers can benefit from our great service.”
U.S. Inspect also has a long history of providing educational resources to the Real Estate community, often offering training for which Realtors® can receive continuing education credits.
“The resources on our web site are not intended for U.S. Inspect clients only,” says Faith Greenwell, Director of Sales for U.S. Inspect’s Residential division. “We have strong relationships with thousands of Realtors® and we hope these new resources will be useful for them and their clients, regardless of whether or not they use U.S. Inspect as their inspection provider.”
