U.S. Inspectors are one of the very few home inspection companies that are licensed to perform termite inspections in the area. And unlike many other states, in North Carolina it is the responsibility of the homebuyer to get a termite inspection completed. We are pleased to be one of the few companies that are able to offer both termite and radon inspections all at the same time saving the customer time and money.

Our inspections pay close attention to houses built between the early 1980’s to 1996 as most have hard board siding (or composition board) and Polybutylene piping. Our inspections also cover crawl space inspections as well as detailed inspections of the HVAC system. Many gas pack or dual pack systems are used where the gas pack is an exterior unit that contains both the gas heat exchanger and the A/C compressor all in one large box. Our inspectors insure all systems are working properly.

In addition to the fast growing suburbs, Raleigh has many older, restored homes and as such requires a differently focused, but just as detailed, inspection. Our inspectors are knowledgeable about the challenges and potential issues of both the newer and older construction practices of the area and work to ensure all of the homeowner’s concerns are addressed.
