Happy Memorial Day Weekend! This weekend marks the unofficial beginning of summer, and for many that means that temperatures are about to really heat up. Here are 10 ways to stay cool this Memorial Day Weekend and beyond!


  1. Make A Splash - One of the most effective and popular ways to stay cool is to harness the power of water. Whether it be by sprinkler, pool, mist, or splash - water just does the job and is fun all at the same time. Try some red, white and blue water balloons this weekend, or a mist machine on the patio to keep your weekends refreshing all summer.
  2. Inside Out - An ice cream sundae on a cool day can send you into shimmy of shivers; but on a hot day, a scoop of your favorite flavor delivers just the right amount of chill from the inside out. Try topping your this weekend with some patriotic extras like raspberries, blueberries and marshmallows or red, white and blue confetti sprinkles. 
  3. Breezy Bliss - Don't forget the fans, even if you have the A/C on. Even a light breeze provides the body with a sensation that the air is cooler and makes hotter temperatures more tolerable. Put the fans on and you'll be able to turn the A/C up higher than 78 degrees, which helps you stay cool while saving cash!
