All About Radon: A Video

January is National Radon Action Month, so I thought I'd share a video from our media library called, All About Radon!

January is National Radon Action Month, so I thought I'd share a video from our media library called, All About Radon!

Why?
Inhalation of and exposure to radon decay products is the second-leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today. If you're a smoker, your chances of contracting lung cancer are much greater. The EPA says upwards of 20,000 deaths per year occur from radon exposure.

Limiting our exposure to radon gas is not just hype, it's genuinely important to the health and well-being of you and your family members.

Testing for Radon
There are various ways to test for radon from self testing to having a professional conduct a test. We always recommend a nationally certified specialist (NEHA) to get the most accurate reading.

About The Video
Find out what radon is, how it finds its way into our homes, and how we can protect ourselves as well as our families. You'll learn it's not very difficult or expensive to make your home a safer place to be.
