Home Energy Inspections. Our affordable Home Energy Inspections are conducted by utilizing the most up-to-date technology in infrared camera thermographic imaging available, and the visual observations of our trained and experienced inspectors.

Our visual inspection will focus on the general condition of doors and windows, weather-stripping, wall and ceiling penetrations, and accessible insulated areas of unconditioned space. Visual evaluations of the furnace, air conditioner and water heater are completed as well, focusing on their age and efficiency. Additional savings will be obtained by following the recommendations of the inspector for needed improvements or upgrades.

The Energy Inspection Report. Our Home Energy Audit will provide you with an in-depth report containing a detailed analysis that lets you know where you can save the most energy money, the costs involved, and the number of months or years it takes to pay off an energy savings improvement. Every home is different.

The inspector will produce a personalized, comprehensive report that is easy to understand, and itemizes a list of recommendations for needed improvements. The report employs both thermal and digital images to further illustrate the locations and severity of temperature differentials produced by air infiltration or inadequate insulation. The comprehensive yet easy-to-understand report averages 15 to 25 pages in length, and is delivered promptly by email. (Special arrangements will be made for those without email.)
