Washington, DC has some of the most unique housing in the country and our Washington, DC home inspectors have the expertise and experience to truly understand all the construction issues of area. All of our inspectors are licensed to work in the greater Washington, DC metro area, which includes northern Virginia and suburban Maryland and are affiliated with the most respected local and national professional organizations such as NAHI and NEHA.

While many new communities are popping up, especially in the Maryland and Virginia suburbs, there is a prevalence of older construction in this area. Many buildings in the greater Washington, DC area are on considered historic and are on the National Register of Historic Places. Understanding the issues surrounding older construction including preserving the historic integrity while still updating HVAC and plumbing systems are other key issues faced by our inspectors.

As much of the region was once under water, especially within the Washington, DC City limits, water intrusion and mold are two important issues. Termites are also a problem in the area and as such, many of our inspectors are licensed Termite Inspectors.
